Deepdale Camping hosts a small but perfectly formed music festival across four stages on the last weekend of September. The Brick Barn, Orchard Stages, Courtyard & St Mary’s Church will host over 40 superb acts.

Cromer Carnival

One of the largest Carnivals in the country and culminating in Carnival day on the 21st August with the Red Arrows dominating the skies overhead. The highlight of the summer season in North Norfolk is the Cromer Carnival, beginning on 17th August until 23rd August , with Carnival Day being 21st August. During this time the whole coast comes out to party, with the Red Arrows appearing on Carnival Day.

Old Hunstanton flower festival

Potty Festival at Sheringham

The Potty Festival is the place to be for Morris dancing and folk music in Sheringham, North Norfolk. It takes place in early July every year, and has been attracting large numbers of dancers, musicians, residents and tourists since it was established in 1993. Named after Sheringham’s ‘Lobster Potties’ Morris side, the festival has taken place in the town for the past 30 years. The event will see almost 40 sides dancing through the town, each showcasing various Morris forms.

Fakenham Races Ladies Day 2024

Norwich bubble rush

Norwich Bubble Rush will take place at The Norfolk Showground, it is a fun run up to 5k that you can walk, jog or run! It is not about speed or winning, it’s about having fun and enjoying the bubbles!
Participants run or walk the course which has four Bubble Stations each with a different coloured foam. The route will be 2 laps so you get double the bubbles– you can choose to complete the route once if you have little ones or by going around twice and completing the full 5K.

Houghton Hall exhibition
4th May-28th September
A major exhibition by the acclaimed British sculptor Stephen Cox will be presented across the park, gardens and interiors of Houghton Hall from 4 May to 28 September. The exhibition will represent the largest and most comprehensive group of work the artist has ever shown. Spanning over 40 years, it will include work conceived and produced all over the world from India to Egypt, Italy and the UK. Around 20 sculptures in marble and stone will be placed in the landscape, while smaller works will be installed in the State Rooms on the first floor of the house, where William Kent’s exuberant decorative scheme has hardly changed since it was created in the early 18th century. A modern gallery space in the South wing of the house will show a group of works on paper together with a large marble and porphyry sculpture, Shrine, which was created for the celebrated Encounters exhibition at the National Gallery in 2000.

Burnham Market Christmas Light switch on
Saturday 16th November
The most wonderful event of the festive calendar! The Green is where the shops and restaurants will be home to hundreds of glittering lights. Expect to find Santa’s Grotto with gifts for the children, a giant snow dome, fairground rides, stalls and carol singers . The event kicks off at 1.00pm with the lights switch on at 5pm. We will have our outside bar serving burgers, hotdogs and mulled wine & cider!

Cromer Crab & Lobster Festival
20th & 21st May
The Crab and Lobster Festival brings the seaside towns of Cromer and Sheringham together to celebrate the world-famous seafood caught in the seas off both coastal resorts. This seafood spectacular includes concerts, cookery theatre, art and seafood trails with over 35 local eateries taking part. There’s also a street market packed with local produce, live music during the day and at night, street performers, heritage and seafaring crafts, and children’s activities, and the World Crabbing Competition on Cromer Pier, in which any keen Cromer crabbers can participate!
The Six Nations Rugby
31st January 2025 - 15th March 2025
We will be showing most of the Six Nations games in our cosy 20 seater cinema as well as in the bar. The drinks will be flowing and the popcorn will be on tap! We will also be doing fabulous food and drink packages to enjoy whilst you support your team.

We host our award-winning Farmers’ Market on the first Saturday of each month (excluding January). There are over 50 stalls to choose from offering fresh local produce including meat, fresh vegetables, fruit and flowers in season, cheese, cakes, savoury and sweet tarts, pies, fudge, artisan breads, pickles, oils, vinegars, preserves, local ales and wines, juices and plants plus much more.
