See in the New Year in style at our famous Gala evening. Start the evening with canapes and a glass of Champagne before sitting down and enjoying a delicious 3 course meal, beautifully designed by Head Chef before heading over to the Garden Room to dance through to 2027 with band and disco.

How do I book Christmas at The Hoste Arms?

You can get pencilled-in straight away. Once you’re ready to confirm, we’ll ask for a deposit payment to secure your spot.

For Christmas Day Bookings we require a deposit payment of the full menu price per person in advance.

Your deposit is fully refundable up to 14 days before your booking date. If you would like to pay by BACs payments this must be completed 10 working days before the event. Your deposit payment will be deducted from your final bill and where applicable will be put towards your minimum spend requirement.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept payments by cheque.

Can I book a private space for an office Christmas party?

Yes. Our Christmas spaces include the Garden Room, The Lodge and the Lounge Room. The Garden Room accommodates up to 80 seated or 120 standing guests. Tell us your group size and whether you’re planning dining or drinks, and we’ll help you choose a suitable space.

What Christmas menus are available?

We offer a three-course festive menu, Christmas sharing boards, festive drinks and a dedicated Christmas Day menu. Young’sters menus are available for both festive dining and Christmas Day. Explore the menus on this page to find the right option for your celebration.

Do you serve Christmas Day lunch in North Norfolk?

Do I need to pre-order my Christmas meal?

Yes. Please submit your menu choices and dietary requirements through the pre-order link provided by the team. Your booking confirmation will explain the deadline for your meal and any changes to guest numbers or menu choices.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

We do not permit food or drink brought in from outside. We offer a range of festive menus, sharing boards and drinks for your celebration. Please speak to the team about any celebration-cake requests before your booking.

Do you offer Christmas breaks in Norfolk?

Yes. Our Great Christmas Getaway is a three-night stay from 24–27 December 2026, including Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas Day lunch and other festive meals. We also offer December Sleepovers for shorter stays. View the package details for inclusions, availability and booking terms.
